Today, I've brought a review of Dure Guksu, a bibimbap and noodle restaurant enjoyed by office workers in Seolleung, Seoul. It's originally a noodle restaurant, but on the day I visited, the bibimbap and hot pot were also famous! It's close to Nonhyeon, Seoul, so stop by for noodles at lunch and hot pot for dinner when you pass by!
- Location: Alley of Exit 5, Seolleung Station
- Business hours: Mon-Sat 11:00 - 22:00 ※Closed on Sundays※
- How to get there: Install the Naver Map app
Here are the business hours and break time of Dure Guksu Yeoksam branch. A useful tip is that the noodles are not the somyeon we know. They were closer to jjolmyeon.
Shop scenery
This is the sign of Dure Guksu.
It looks a bit old, showing its years, but the neat font increases the level of trust.
Below is the inside of the store.
The shop has deep and wide seating inside.
Acrylic dividers are installed separately, as if showing that it survived the Corona season. They remove the dividers when a group comes.
When I came for lunch, it was already full. I took the pictures when I was leaving after eating.
Dure Guksu Menu
Below is the entire menu of Dure Guksu, a bibimbap and noodle restaurant.
Because a lot of vegetables are added to all the menus here, you can feel the healthiest taste to the maximum when you order bibimbap.
Although it was lunchtime, many people were enjoying the hot pot.
The price is also very cheap, and it's very reasonable for lunch in Seolleung and Yeoksam, right?
Bibim Guksu
I ate bibim guksu.
I ordered noodles because I didn't really feel like having rice.
First, as side dishes, kimchi and green chili peppers come out modestly.
It's like a country meal, isn't it?
It feels warm and welcoming.
The chili peppers are green chili peppers, so they are not spicy at all.
While I was eating the chili peppers and waiting, the bibim guksu came out quickly.
At first, the noodles they give you are buried in a huge amount of vegetables, so you can't see the noodles!
Sesame seeds are sprinkled on top of the vegetables, adding a savory flavor.
And a half of a boiled egg, which is essential for noodles~ It's so perfect.
Dure Guksu, a noodle restaurant, doesn't put in the sauce when they first give you the noodles.
You can add the bibim guksu sauce and mix it according to your own taste and preference!
I mixed it and ate it, but it seemed a bit bland, so I added more, but this sauce is spicier than I thought!
You should add it little by little and taste it. Japanese people will definitely say it's spicy!!
As I said before, I told you that Dure Guksu is not the somyeon we usually know~
It is chewy noodles similar to jjolmyeon. They are thick and plump~
And they slightly oiled the noodles to prevent them from sticking together, so you can eat them deliciously without them clumping together.
Today, I gave you a review of Dure Guksu, a bibimbap and noodle restaurant famous for lunch for office workers in Seolleung, Seoul, and also recommended for Japanese tourists.
Thank you for reading.
