"I started my Busan trip at Gamcheon Culture Village! ❣️"
I came here on a Busan trip 4-5 years ago, and I came as a 뚜벅이 (ttub-eok-i, meaning walking around) this time, but this time I visited on a "tour!"
I went to a public parking lot nearby, but I thought it was a bit far from the entrance (because I had to walk up), so I parked briefly near the entrance to the village and quickly walked around the important spots in the village.
If you see the whale-shaped sculpture below, it's a sign that you've arrived at Gamcheon Culture Village in Busan!
If you go up this road, the Little Prince photo zone, observatory, and various murals and photo spots appear one after another!
As you go up, there are cafes, food, and souvenir shops along the road.
Thanks to that, I never get bored while walking!
WELCOME TO GAMCHEON! Behind the Gamcheon Culture Village logo, the colorful houses spread out along the hill at a glance.
Because the weather was good, the colors of the village were even more colorful and pretty.
The colorful roofs and murals reflected in the sunlight looked like paintings.
The weather was really hot and dazzling to the point where I couldn't open my eyes, hahaha
It was around 1 p.m. on a weekday when I visited, so there weren't a lot of people.
Finally found the Little Prince photo zone in Gamcheon Culture Village!
How do you get to the Little Prince photo zone? If you go up the road from the entrance, you will arrive naturally.
When I visited this place before, I wondered if it was this famous? There was a long line in front of the Little Prince photo zone in Gamcheon Culture Village.
I waited in line to take a picture with the Little Prince. It seemed that 70% of the people waiting in line were foreigners.
Still, the time spent waiting while looking at the village scenery was quite romantic.
With a hand fan 🪭
This place is quite high, so it was nice that the wind blew gently despite the hot weather.
Photo certification complete at the Little Prince photo zone in Gamcheon Culture Village ✨
The weather was really... crazy hot, so I couldn't go up to the observatory.
Instead, I took a picture of the beautiful scenery on the way down, looking at the Little Prince.
When you walk around the village, there is also a place where you can try your luck for fun.
It's near the Little Prince.
The method is simple. After exchanging 1,000 won for a coin, you pick a capsule that matches your zodiac sign.
You just break the picked capsule with a small hammer.
If you tap it, it cracks, and the small fortune-telling paper inside pops out.
My friend and I have different zodiac signs, but we got the same fortune.
It was exactly the same, without missing a single word.
Hahaha
Murals with pretty and lyrical phrases that were seen on the way down
I took pictures because the phrases were pretty.
Foreigners were swarming at the BTS mural, I thought it was a famous mural, so I took a picture 📸
These murals are gathered in many alleys throughout Gamcheon Culture Village.
I recommend walking slowly along the alley and enjoying it!
A must-have food time in Gamcheon Culture Village in Busan!
As you walk around, cute dessert shops catch your eye, and among them, the one that really caught my eye was 'Black Pink Ice Cream'.
It seems that Black Pink ice cream is famous, so I ordered it and ate it. Usually, black and pink are mixed in one cone, but I chose a cone that was a bit different, with vanilla (white) + black separately.
The price is ₩4,000 each
It seemed to taste even better because I ate it in a pretty village 🍦
I wanted to look around the village more, but it was too hot.... So I decided to look around the main photo zones and finish the tour!
As you look around the village, there are also emotional cafes here and there, so it's perfect for taking a break when it's hot
I was still happy to see the strange sculptures again.
Colorful village
I recommend that you visit Gamcheon Culture Village if you go on a trip to Busan
It is much prettier when you see it with your own eyes than the scenery you only saw in photos, and there are so many hidden fun elements throughout the village that I wasn't bored while walking
If you are looking for a trip full of sensibility, isn't Gamcheon Culture Village the best course!
