During my trip to Nha Trang, Vietnam, my Galaxy phone was unfortunately submerged in water, but I was able to get it repaired for free at the Samsung Service Center in Nha Trang.
The service center is located outside the city center, and it's recommended to use Google Maps when taking a taxi.
My water-damaged phone was repaired in 1 hour and 20 minutes, and they informed me that the charging port would be replaced in Korea due to parts availability issues.
While preparing for my trip to Nha Trang, Vietnam, I knew there was a Samsung Service Center in Nha Trang. However..... I didn't think I would need to use the service center 😂
The incident began with [ Luxury Hopping Tour ] Those who have been on it will know... Hopping Tour... It really makes you lose your mind lol. Lost in the excitement of shaking and dancing... I didn't even realize my phone had gotten submerged...
Hey, ho, let's go!🎶
Shake it~ shake it~ Shake it shake it 🎶
After finishing the hopping tour and on the way back to the hotel, I checked my phone... and gasp!😱 A water damage alert popped up!
I tried my best to dry it with the cool air from the hairdryer, but it was no use.. So sad 😭
But....
Without panicking, I immediately visited the Samsung Service Center!
⭐️You don't need to make a reservation to visit^^⭐️
It's located on the outskirts of Nha Trang city, a bit far from the downtown area^^ I used InDriver to get there, and!!
When going to an unfamiliar place like this...
TIP
It's safest to use Google Maps on your phone to navigate!
If I were to go in the opposite direction by mistake...😱 When it's an unfamiliar road, I always use Google Maps^^
It seemed like the taxi driver was also unfamiliar with this place lol.. We got a little lost before arriving!!
I arrived safely^^
The inside of the center was clean!
And there were several service technicians^^
I explained the phone's condition in broken English and submitted it!
They fixed it right there on the spot!
I could also see the repair process through CCTV^^
My phone was repaired in just 1 hour and 20 minutes...
However...
Since it had been submerged in water too much, they said I needed to replace the charging port. They said it would take a week to get the parts locally, so I decided to get it replaced when I returned to Korea!
While I was in Nha Trang, I luckily used a wireless charger to charge it!
The repair cost was free!!!!
I saw in other posts that people got their water-damaged phones repaired for free^^ I got it repaired for free too! haha
What do you think!!
