Han River Eland Cruise - Yeouido Han River View Cafe Reservation Review
I had a precious date with my mother who came from Japan.
We were able to momentarily forget the complexities of the city and enjoy some time alone, feeling the refreshing breeze and enjoying the open riverside scenery. We relaxed with a cup of tea while enjoying the riverside view, and added small pleasures like feeding the seagulls, resulting in a perfect healing time. I'll explain one by one why I recommend it!
1. Yeouido Han River Cruise Reservation
Reserving a Yeouido Han River cruise was simpler than I thought. You can reserve online in advance, or you can get tickets on-site.
If you want to buy tickets on-site, you can purchase them directly from the ticket office near Yeouinaru Pier. However, please note that it's better to book in advance during peak season or on weekends because it gets crowded!
*When I visited on a weekday, there was no waiting line, but there were many tourists from Japan.

Since I live in Korea, I can book through Naver or pay when I visit on the day, but for others, it's better to book in advance. It seems like many people will be waiting, and it will take a long time to buy tickets.
And when boarding the cruise ship, you need to fill out a boarding formfor safety and smooth boarding. This boarding form records the basic information of the passengers boarding, and it's an essential procedure for dealing with emergencies and ensuring passenger safety.
Especially according to the cruise ship operation regulations, it is mandatory to record the information of all passengers, so you must fill it out.

2. Han River Tour Cafe Cruise 1st Floor
The 1st floor has spacious and comfortable seats, making it ideal for families to spend time together. My husband and I enjoyed coffee and macarons while enjoying the view on the 1st floor.
One of the important things when boarding a cruise ship is the life jacket usage. Through safety training, we learned about the location and how to wear the life jackets located under each seat. They demonstrated how to quickly take out and wear the life jacket in case of an accident.
The evening dinner cruiseseems to create a more calm and romantic atmosphere. Soft music plays inside the boat, making it a good time to quietly enjoy the view with a coffee or wine. I should try the champagne dinner next time!
The bar-style seating on the 1st floor is connected to the cafe and barYou can enjoy coffee and drinks there. The unique space away from the city was impressive.
Outdoors, while the cruise ship slowly crosses the bridge, you can leisurely enjoy the magnificent buildings of Seoul and the panoramic view of the National Assembly building that unfolds before your eyes.
3. Eland Cruise Ship 2nd Floor
The 2nd floor of the Eland Cruise ship is a space where families can enjoy a wider and more refreshing view of the Han River. Unlike the 1st floor, it's an open-air space, allowing you to enjoy the scenery more freely while feeling the breeze.
Thanks to the nice weather, my mother and I enjoyed ourselves leisurely standing on the 2nd floor.
The seagull feeding experienceconducted on the 2nd floor is one of the activities that children will enjoy. You can interact with the seagulls flying around as the cruise ship passes by by feeding them directly. (I was too scared to do it and only took pictures.)
The seagulls weren't as cute as I thought... Beware of their sharp eyes and appearance.. haha. Still, it was a unique experience!
However, if you throw too much food, many seagulls will gather, so be careful!! haha. It's important to give an appropriate amount.

You can see the 63 Building and capture the wide view and sky at the same time, so you can take both portraits and landscape photos as you wish.
4. Restrooms and Precautions
The cafe cruise has well-maintained and clean restrooms. They are located right in front of the door on the 1st floor.
The point to be careful about when using it is safety, of course. Since it's a moving cruise ship, you must pay attention to safety while boarding.
