1. KTX Train Reservation
- Tips for foreign tourists traveling in Korea
KTX train reservations can be made on the Let's Korail website. Let's Korail supports Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese. Select your departure date, origin, destination, train type, and number of passengers, then proceed to the next page.
KTX trains are the fastest but most expensive, while Mugunghwa trains are slower and cheaper.
After selecting your desired train, proceed to the next page.
After entering your basic personal information and completing the card payment, your train reservation is complete.
Like buses, trains operate on a strict schedule, so it's best to arrive at the terminal at least 10 minutes in advance.
If you need to use the KTX for 2-5 days, purchasing a 2-day, 3-day, etc., pass from an affiliated site is cheaper than from Korail.

2. KoBus Website Reservation
The second method is to book through the KoBus website.
The KoBus website also supports Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese.
The reservation process is the same as the first method. Select your origin and destination, date, and number of passengers, then search.
Select your desired time and proceed to the next step.
- *Premium buses are more expensive but offer more spacious and comfortable seating than regular seats.
Select the number of people and seats. If you haven't registered, you can proceed with the reservation as a guest.
Agree to the required items and enter your card information and reservation information.
A Korean phone number is required, so you'll need to purchase a Korean SIM card.
