I ordered the Salsal Fried Mini and the Spicy Soup Tteokbokki for a total of 16,000 won.
This is the Salsal Fried Mini.
The price is 7,000 won.
It's a mini version of the regular Salsal Fried chicken. The regular Salsal Fried comes with three sauces (Red Dipping, Honey Mustard, and Jambalaya), but the mini version only comes with the Jambalaya sauce. I usually eat a lot of Salsal Fried chicken, but today I also wanted to try the tteokbokki (rice cakes).
I ordered the mini version because I didn't think I could eat a whole Salsal Fried chicken along with the tteokbokki. The reason I'm hooked on Salsal Fried is the rice flour coating; it's so fragrant and delicious. The rice flour makes the batter extra crispy and tasty.
Please note that the Salsal Fried Mini only contains breast meat.
This is the Spicy Soup Tteokbokki. The price is 9,000 won.
I suddenly craved tteokbokki, so I ordered it. To be honest, I was a little disappointed. For 9,000 won, the contents felt a bit skimpy. It only contained rice cakes, fish cakes, and the broth. The spiciness level is slightly hotter than Shin Ramyun.
Although I usually enjoy tteokbokki, I'm satisfied with just having tried Kyochon's Spicy Soup Tteokbokki.
The Salsal Fried Mini was just as delicious as always. However, I'm content with just trying the Spicy Soup Tteokbokki once.
