This is my first time trying Kyochon Chicken's corn balls. Here's a review of the price, packaging, and taste of the limited-time Kyochon Honey Jumbo Wing Corn Ball Set.

1. Honey Jumbo Wing Corn Ball Set Price

I ordered the Honey Jumbo Wing Corn Ball Set (22,000 won), a limited-time offer described as a set that lets you enjoy both Honey Jumbo Wings with a deep honey and garlic flavor and crispy corn fritters sprinkled with corn seasoning.

Every time I order Kyochon Chicken delivery, I'm reminded how expensive the delivery fee is. Usually, the delivery fee makes me opt for a different chicken place, but I was so curious about the Kyochon corn balls that I decided to order.

Since it's a corn ball set, the delivery included a box of corn balls and the crunchy corn seasoning to sprinkle on top. I usually get the Honey Combo, but let's take a look at the Honey Jumbo Wings and corn balls individually.

2. Kyochon Honey Jumbo Wings

I usually find that Kyochon chicken pieces are small because they use young chickens. However, the Honey Jumbo Wings are definitely larger, as the name suggests.

The Honey Jumbo Wings have a well-balanced savory and sweet flavor characteristic of Kyochon. It satisfied my craving for a more substantial bite, which I sometimes missed with the smaller pieces of the Honey Combo. However, the larger size seemed to mellow the flavor a bit.

So, while it was a bit less sweet than the Honey Combo, it was still delicious.

3. Kyochon Corn Ball Fritters

I was most curious about the corn ball fritters. They looked similar to what I had imagined—fritters with several corn kernels clumped together.

The visual appearance really made me expect a crispy outside and soft inside texture.

Cutting a corn ball in half reveals the bright yellow corn kernels inside.

However, contrary to the description, the corn fritters were a bit soggy rather than crispy. I was quite disappointed, especially since it looked so crispy, but sprinkling on the corn seasoning made them palatable. It would have been a bigger problem if they had been both soggy and tasteless, wouldn't it?

I enjoyed them with the Kyochon Red Secret Stir-fried Noodles, which are quite spicy though not as spicy as Buldak Bokkeumyeon. It helped to cut through the sweetness of the chicken, but that also meant I ate more than I intended.
