I'm going to share my review of the New Balance Purple, the slippers I bought last year and have been wearing until this year. I've been wearing them for over a year now, and I'll share my thoughts. Currently, they're being sold for a limited time at the Hongdae New Balance store in Seoul, so if you're traveling to Korea and want to buy them, go to the Hongdae New Balance store!

New Balance Purple V2 Review & Sizing Tips

It all started last year when I saw this feed...It was a problem!!!ㅋㅋㅋ

The New Balance Purple, featured on Kang Min-kyung's Instagram feed, looked so cute. Once it was on my wishlist, it wouldn't leave...She styled it with chic leather pants, and the cuteness was radiating.

I hadn't felt the need for Ugg boots, and I was looking for light, fluffy slippers, and this was perfect for my needs.

When I bought them last year, popular sizes of the New Balance Purple v2 were constantly sold out on the official website, so I bought them from Kreem at an inflated price.

The retail price of the New Balance Purple is \119,000.

I have high insteps and wide feet, so I was agonizing over the size. I read other people's posts and they said to go up a size, so I chose a size 250mm instead of my usual 245mm size, and I really regret it.ㅠㅠ

As I wear them, the fleece inside the shoe gets compressed, and the space gets wider. Since the design doesn't tightly hold the instep or the ball of the foot, sizing up made them too loose.

One of my feet is so loose that every time I wear them, I have to put a lot of pressure on my legs to walk. I think that's why walking in them causes knee pain.ㅠㅠ So I only wear them for short outings and never when I have to walk a lot.

So, if you're thinking of buying the New Balance Purple because you like the design, I recommend sizing down, regardless of your instep or width.

(Of course, trying them on in the store is the most accurate way, but when I bought them, the store was out of stock so I couldn't try them on.)

Those who usually wear a size 5mm larger should definitely size down.

Even those who wear in 10mm increments should try them on in the store before buying...

I tried wearing them like this, with the instep part standing up, because I heard it would be a little better, but they still didn't feel secure on my feet at all.

They look great with corduroy pants, a symbol of winter fashion, making them perfect for dressed-up days.

The round toe is particularly cute, and I love the design!!

After wearing them for a year, I found that stains from rain or snow are difficult to remove, and I regret sizing up.

These padding mules would be better suited as a daily item for those who have a more casual and cute style than those with a clean and chic style.

I had a bad experience due to the wrong size,ㅠ but I hope those reading this get the right size and create a beautiful winter look!

When I went to the store, I saw new designs. The original New Balance Purple v2 only came in beige, brown, and black, but now they have various colors like white and gray, making more options available!

Honestly, I wanted to avoid the very common winter shoes from that well-known brand, and this shoe's design is so pretty. If you choose the right size, I think it's a good winter shoe for people like me!
