Based on a family of four, including a first grader and a third grader.
The food was generally delicious. It had a nice, moderate spiciness and the seasoning was well-balanced. My wife found it a bit salty overall.
1. Jasmine Cafe - It was far superior to the Pad Thai we had at the night market, Pier 21, etc. If you've tried the night market or street Pad Thai, I highly recommend going to Jasmine Cafe. We ordered Tom Yum Goong, Pad Thai, and Shrimp something. We would definitely visit again.
2. Pier 21 Food Court - I wouldn't recommend it for first-time visitors to Pattaya. It's confusing, and even after searching and finding what you want, you might not know what's good or not.
3. Popeye Seafood - It's a bit far from the center of Pattaya. However, the food is excellent. Poo Pad Pong Karee <-- It's incredibly delicious with rice. It's too salty to eat on its own. And the fried rice! That's also very tasty. Overall, all the menu items are delicious.
4. Mumm Aroi Restaurant - Scallop butter grill, Garlic Crab?, Morning Glory, etc. It's an average restaurant. It's a beachfront restaurant without air conditioning, but we enjoyed the pleasant weather and had a great meal.
5. Subukhan located outside Central Marina - It's run by a Korean owner, and their seaweed soup and pork bone soup are above average. We didn't have high expectations, but my wife raved about the seaweed soup. It's a good recommendation if you're craving Korean food.
1. Jungle Sanctuary (Elephant Sanctuary) - We did a half-day tour. Feeding and interacting with elephants, bathing them, and making paper from elephant dung! It was a truly unique experience for all ages, regardless of whether you're a child or an adult. It's highly recommended! You get to touch, feed, and bathe rescued elephants up close. My children also said it was a memorable experience.
2. Koh Samae San (Island Hopping)
Island hopping is nothing compared to the Philippines. Don't do it.
The good thing was that my wife, who couldn't even go into a swimming pool, was able to ride on the lifeguard boats and go around. I was so grateful that I gave a generous tip from the bottom of my heart.
3. Sanctuary of Truth
It's worth visiting once. It's amazing and grand that it's built entirely of wood.
4. Walking Street Night Market
There's nothing special to see. It's the same everywhere you go.
1. 0.5 nights at Lilak - We arrived late in the afternoon and stayed at Lilak for 0.5 nights. It was simple.
2. Grande Centre Point Space - It's newly built, so it's clean and the accommodation conditions are good.
It's perfect for children. There's a long lazy river, moderate slides, and wave pool. It's nice to spend a day or so at the hotel.
There's a game center in the middle, but you can't enter in swimwear or rash guards.
3. Hard Rock - We had a reservation at Mirage but canceled it and hastily booked this hotel due to the lazy river construction.
It's surprisingly nice. The pool is large and great for children. It's a great value for the price.
However! If you have very young children or children who can't swim, you need to keep a close eye on them at all times. The deep part of the pool is 1.60m.
E-cigarettes are illegal in Thailand.
Especially foreigners, if you're caught smoking e-cigarettes on the street by the police, you might get robbed for the price of a plane ticket if you're unlucky.
On the first day, I was smoking and couldn't help it, so I bought a Quick e-cigarette for 200 baht each at the Walking Street Night Market.
Island hopping in the Philippines is the best!
While dipping my head in the sea, I wondered what I was doing...
I wish I had spent my money on something else...
I would consider revisiting Thailand, and I plan to travel to Krabi soon.
This is our subjective opinion and travel experience, so please take it with a grain of salt.
