This expansion pack reportedly includes numerous Pokemon, including the legendary Pokemon Dialga and Palkia, which appeared in "Pokemon DP: Dialga, Palkia".
Let's take a look at the cards appearing in this new expansion pack.
First, Dialga EX.
Dialga EX is a Steel-type card with 150 HP and requires 2 energy to retreat.
While its damage output seemed ambiguous as an attacker when it was first revealed, it has the advantage of dealing 30 damage to the opponent and attaching 2 Steel Energy to its bench Pokemon with only 2 energy. Therefore, deck compositions utilizing this will likely emerge.
It's anticipated that this expansion pack will feature powerful Steel-type Pokemon with strong abilities.
Next is Palkia EX.
Palkia EX is a Water-type card with 150 HP and requires 2 energy to retreat.
Palkia EX has an ability called Dimension Storm, which deals 150 damage and an additional 20 damage to all opponent's benched Pokemon.
However, it has a significant drawback: it requires 4 energy to use the ability, and using it discards 3 Water Energy. This is a very critical weakness.
Therefore, there's anticipation for the release of Pokemon that support Palkia. Otherwise, it's practically unusable.
Next is Lucario.
It's a Fighting-type card with 100 HP and requires 2 energy to retreat.
It can only be used after evolving from Riolu.
Its ability, Fighting Coach, adds 20 damage to the attack power of your Fighting Pokemon when Lucario is on the field. Since the description doesn't specify that this effect doesn't stack, it seems that having 2 Lucario on the field could increase the power by 40.
Fighting-type Pokemon have generally lacked power, but Lucario seems to offer some compensation for that.
Next are the 4th generation starter Pokemon: Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup.
This suggests that Pokemon like Torterra, Infernape, and Empoleon will also be added. Interestingly, Turtwig has 80 HP, the highest among the starters. We eagerly await to see how high the HP of its final evolution, Torterra, will be.
And you can see more leaks in the released video.
This is Pachirisu EX.
With 2 Electric Energy, it has an ability that can deal a total of 80 damage if the conditions are met.
"Pokemon's tool" is mentioned in this description, and we are curious to see what this tool will be.
Leafeon and Honchkrow are also added.
Leafeon has an ability that deals 90 damage with 2 Energy, but it cannot be used the next turn. Honchkrow has an ability that deals 50 damage to one opponent's Pokemon.
The support card, N, appears,
The description of the N card reveals that the Sharpedo line and the Togepi line will be added.
We can see the addition of the aforementioned Sharpedo line, and Cresselia is also added.
Interestingly, Cresselia does not appear as an EX, but an EX version of Cresselia may exist.
Since Cresselia is here, we can also expect Darkrai to appear.
This concludes our look at the cards scheduled to be released in the new Pokemon Card Game Pocket expansion pack, "Time-Space Clash." The release is just around the corner, so be sure to check it out later!
