[Seohwa Hanbok] Hanbok Rental Shops Recommended in Seoul! Gyeongbokgung Palace Free Admission

It's been a few years since I've lived in Korea. September in Seoul is the time when autumn truly begins.

Especially in September, the sky is high and clear, making it a good month for taking photos. It is also the best season to take life shots with the traditional architecture of Gyeongbokgung Palace and the colors of hanbok.

So I took pictures in hanbok at Gyeongbokgung Palace with my Korean friend after a long time!

The price range was reasonable, the quality of the fabric was good, and the management was well done, so I was very satisfied.

Seohwa Hanbok is located very close to Gyeongbokgung Palace, making it easy to get around. Above all, the store is spacious and the interior is clean, so even first-time visitors can use it without any burden.

📷 After my own experience

The hanbok I chose was a premium line that highlighted the harmony of a beautiful pink skirt. The photos taken on the Gyeongbokgung Palace stone wall path came out like a painting thanks to the subtle colors.

In particular, the photos taken in front of Gwanghwamun, the main gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace, were the best for capturing life shots because of the good sunlight. In addition, the pond of Hyangwonjeong inside was a good point to take a walk in hanbok, and the hanbok reflected on the water was so beautiful.

🏯 Gyeongbokgung Palace nearby attractions & course suggestions

After wearing hanbok, it's a shame to just look around Gyeongbokgung Palace. I recommend nearby attractions that are good to enjoy together.

Attraction Features

Bukchon Hanok Village Traditional Hanok streets and cafes, galleries are full

Samcheongdong Street Cozy cafes and restaurants, dessert paradise

Gwanghwamun Square Commemorative photos in front of the statues of King Sejong and General Yi Sun-sin

Seochon Village A walk through the alleys where Hanok and modern spaces are harmonized

Insa-dong Cultural Street Traditional crafts, tea houses, and street performances are available

In particular, Bukchon Hanok Village is even more suitable when visiting in hanbok, and it is also very popular among foreign tourists.

There are also events that you can use in Korea, so be sure to check them out one by one!
