Seoul's new tourist attraction, the SEOULDAL hot air balloon, is finally taking to the skies in the heart of Yeouido! It will officially start operating on August 23rd, offering a unique experience with breathtaking views of Seoul from 130 meters above.
However, if you choose to pay on-site, you may have to wait in line for over an hour. To ensure you don't miss this chance to experience Seoul from above, make your reservation in advance through the link below.
SEOULDAL Admission Fee and Basic Information

✔️ Operating Hours: Tuesday-Sunday, 12:00-22:00 (Monday: Regular Holiday and Facility Inspection)
✔️ Flight Time: Approximately 15 minutes per ride

SEOULDAL Admission Fee
✔️ Adult (19 years old - 64 years old): 25,000 KRW
✔️ Child (36 months - 18 years old): 20,000 KRW

Due to the nature of hot air balloons, operations may be canceled due to weather conditions such as strong winds or heavy rain. Please be sure to check the SEOULDAL official website before your visit to confirm if the flights are operating.
What is SEOULDAL?
SEOULDAL is a hot air balloon that allows you to enjoy a panoramic view of Seoul's beautiful night scenery from Yeouido's airspace. While referred to as a hot air balloon, it's actually a tethered gas balloon that rises to a height of 130 meters above Yeouido Park, offering sightseeing opportunities for the city's skyline and Han River.
The height may vary slightly depending on weather conditions, but at night, you can enjoy the stunning night view of Yeouido, with its numerous high-rise buildings. Experience the magnificent scenery of the city through SEOULDAL, a new Seoul landmark.
How to Make a SEOULDAL Reservation in Advance
Currently, online reservations for SEOULDAL are not available, and only on-site purchases are possible. However, before the official launch, you can experience SEOULDAL through online pre-reservations.
On-Site Payment
✔️ Register at the Yeouido Park on-site kiosk.
✔️ Pay for your boarding pass in order and wait for your turn to board.
Pre-Reservation
✔️ Selected citizens from each autonomous district will be given the chance to experience SEOULDAL through a pilot program.
✔️ Pilot Program Dates: July - August 22nd
✔️ July: Weekdays & Weekends, 17:00 - 21:00 (2 flights per hour)
✔️ August: Weekdays 17:00 - 21:00, Weekends 12:00 - 22:00 (3 flights per hour)

Precautions When Using SEOULDAL
✔️ Bring your ID.
✔️ Operations may be canceled due to strong winds, heavy rain, or other weather conditions.
✔️ During the pilot program period, only pre-selected citizens can ride.
✔️ Wheelchairs and strollers must be stored in the waiting area before boarding.
✔️ Elderly individuals with mobility issues must be accompanied by a companion when boarding.
✔️ Children under 13 must be accompanied by a guardian.
✔️ Children under 110cm may have difficulty seeing clearly.
