I doubt there's anyone who's visited Thailand and hasn't been to Terminal 21 Asok.
In Thailand, there's one in Asok and another at the Dolphin Roundabout in Pattaya. Most people who've visited Thailand have probably been to these places. They're absolutely packed! lol. If you want to eat at Pier 21, you'll spend ages just queuing. Haha.
But Terminal 21 is also in Korat. However, it's in the Isaan region, which is over 3 hours away from Bangkok by car. That's just not feasible, lol.
So, if you want a quiet Terminal 21 with great quality, no Koreans, a totally local vibe, and an amazing atmosphere, then this is the place to come. Haha!
It's Terminal 21 Rama 3.
There's a bus stop right in front, and compared to Asok, there's no traffic. Haha.
You can see Korean writing here too. To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if half the steel reinforcement here was contributed by Koreans, lol.
If you sit at Pier 21 on the 5th floor, you can see the Chao Phraya River glistening outside. I can't tell the difference between this and Iconsiam. Haha. It has the view of Iconsiam, but the prices are way more affordable at Pier 21. Haha!
I've never seen the line for fresh mango sticky rice not be long, haha.
I came around 2 PM, and the atmosphere was so pleasant. And no foreigners in sight (although you might find some if you look hard enough).
It's newly opened, so it's clean and beautiful, and there are a lot of pretty Thai girls... (I think I heard a voice in my head ^^;;;)
Why can't I just say, 'This is Terminal 21 Rama 3'? Anyway, it has everything the other Terminal 21s have, just cleaner and more comfortable. Haha!
Having visited all four Terminal 21s in Thailand, I think this one is the best. Highly recommended.
