"I'm Solo" is analyzed from a documentary perspective, interpreting the nature of human mating desire and competition from a documentary perspective.
In particular, it mentions the blind survival instinct of humans and the difficulty of objective self-reflection, arguing that "I'm Solo" provides an opportunity to reflect on oneself.
Referring to Schopenhauer's way of observing others, he advises that one should recognize one's fixed character and discard unnecessary expectations.
I enjoy documentaries and romantic comedies when it comes to genres of broadcasting. Since I like documentaries, I often watch History, National Geographic, and Discovery channels.
I also watch UFC frequently.
But...
Why do I enjoy 'I Am Solo'? Although 'I Am Solo' is categorized as an entertainment show by the broadcasting station, it's actually a documentary.
It's a social experiment documentary.
It's a documentary that showcases the fragility of human beings in the competition that unfolds around the strongest human desire: the desire for mating.
In this show, the true nature and instincts of humans are revealed as they compete for an unyielding desire. That's why I believe, in my delusion, that 'I Am Solo' is the best documentary for understanding humanity.
Watching 'I Am Solo' brings this thought to my mind.
"The world is wide, and there are many crazy people" haha
I also wonder if I might have been crazy to someone else at some point. Haha.
Because humans are blind, survival machines, they easily believe they are always right, and it seems they are truly difficult beings to objectively observe themselves.
If all citizens were to appear on 'I Am Solo' and have the opportunity to introspect on themselves objectively, I fantasize that the world we live in could become a better place... haha.
And when I watch 'I Am Solo', Schopenhauer's advice comes to mind. Schopenhauer advised this:
"Observe others as if they were unchanging mineral specimens, classify human character like classifying minerals, and treat them accordingly."
Since humans are born with a character that is difficult to change, Schopenhauer advised us not to have unnecessary expectations and to deal with them accordingly.
It's true.
Because only a few people can actually overcome their innate selves...
